Our Core Assessment for Hypermobility is the starting point where we get to learn about you. Completing our Core Assessment is a vital part of our personalized evaluation of your hypermobility needs. Lauren Eiriksson is a registered occupational therapist with lived experience and a special interest in hypermobility and connective tissue disorders. She uses a holistic and functional approach to understand the full picture of a person’s daily life and how it is impacted by their hypermobility. Yaruuna Enkhbold is a Registered Physiotherapist who is committed to effective and active care. Having lived experience and a clinical interest in hypermobility, Yaruuna is aware of the unique challenges and strengths that come with hypermobile bodies. Dr. Sawchuk is excited to join the Hypermobility Clinic, bringing over ten years of experience supporting patients through the mind-body challenges of EDS / HSD. He helps patients understand how their nervous system, emotions, and physical symptoms are connected, and works gently and collaboratively to make sense of what they’re experiencing. At Hypermobility Canada, we offer genetic testing to help identify possible causes of your hypermobility symptoms. Because many hypermobility disorders share similar symptoms, it can be difficult to know exactly which test to choose.
