What Are Hypermobility Disorders?

Hypermobility disorders are conditions where some or all of a person’s joints move more easily—or “bendier”—than usual. While being flexible might sound like a good thing for people with hypermobility, it can cause pain, joint instability, fatigue, and even frequent injuries.

Hypermobility disorder symptoms can range from mild to more serious, and it affects everyone a bit differently. It’s not the same as simply being flexible—hypermobility comes with challenges that can impact daily life, and often needs support from healthcare professionals to manage symptoms and stay active safely.

Treatment tailored to your needs

While there’s no cure for hypermobility disorders, the goal of treatment is to reduce pain, improve strength, and support everyday activities. Treatment is often personalized and may include a team of healthcare professionals.

We begin with a comprehensive baseline assessment, helping you understand how hypermobility is affecting your body and daily life. From there, you choose the level of programming that fits your goals, needs, and lifestyle.
